Sorry, unable to replicate the issue you are seeing - clicking cancel does not update the line you are modifying...
Is this what you expect?
soz haven't been on for a while.
this doesn't apply anymore because the current version no longer asks for credentials. on the older versions when you double clicked an item and it asked for credentials to update the item, clicking cancel would still take you to the screen to update an item.
