Help with VAT and Z reports

Hi, I've managed to install all the software and have got everything working, The problem im having is that when I do a z report it doesnt show what I have sold that is vatable and what I have sold that isn't vatable.

Is there something that im missing?

Also there seems to be only half of the Z report when printed off my till receipt printer.

     Thanks In Advance.

Re: Help with VAT and Z reports

The VAT thing is an omission, and should be added in a future release.

Z-Prints will not print from receipt printers - this is by design, and is one area where those coming from cash registers often struggle to see the concept of the design of the system - they have always been used to turning the key to Z, and printing it on the inbuilt printer.

The design is to seperate "Front of House" (ie, customer facing) tasks from "Back of House" tasks. PCTill does Front of House, SCM does Back of House.

Whilst in a small setup, the same PC may be used for both, the system was designed to be scalable, so potentially multiple PCTills (potentially across different branches/sites) and potentially multiple SCMs. The PCTills are only designed to do Front of House tasks, therefore cannot perform Back of House tasks, such as Z Prints, or any other report for that matter. As Z Prints (just being a specialised report) are a Back of House task, they print to a typical office printer. There is no option to send this to a receipt style printer.

    Hope that makes some sense
