Whilst trying to do a Z-print I get a run time error no:5 then closes, any one know a work around or possibly a bug?.

Can you clarify your version, as 4.5 is only available to specific users currently?

Hi sorry yes it's 4.0.3 not 4.5 my mistake should have paid more attention.

I would also like to add my thanks to you and your team for such an excellent piece of work, I have tried several others and find this one wins hands down. I wish you all the best with your future plans to release it retail and will be more than happy to buy it.

Firstly, no plans to start charging for the software (assuming you are happy to stick to JET based one) - nobody can predict the future, but thats our current stance.

 

As you your problem, struggling to replicate your problem here. We can produce RTE No 94, but not No 5.  Is it on all Z-Prints, or just a specific day?

Thanks for the quick reply its on all dates for me, on previous versions the first date allways appeared in american date format and if i cancelled it would revert to english date layout and print. On this one it still shows as american and wether i cancel or not it shuts stock manager down with runtime error 5.

Is your locale set correctly in Windows?

What happens if you overtype correct date format, replacing what is in there?

I tried changing the locale and region to us, also tried typing in the date but it still shut down.

I have just tried reloading v3.06 and a backup of stock and all worked fine again very puzzling

At what point exactly does it RTE?

When you press the Display Button?  When you press the Exit button?

The drop down box is greyed out and I cant select it, sorry

OK, can you replicate the issue using a new, blank stock.mdb, if so, any special steps you take?

or if your mdb is reasonably well populated, would you be prepared to send to us, along with your SCM key, so we can replicate issue here?

Hi thank you, I can send it to you without a problem and appreciate ypour help.

It is fully populated as im still testing to hopefully use it full time for the new tax-year(april).
