First of all thanks for a very, very good software. I've got a one little problem.

With APD+TM-T88III receipt looks very good but how to remove big receipt number from the bottom of the receipt and VAT information? Is it possible?

Ah, yes, the APD driver was new in 3.6.0 and we're finding all the 'features' that users are discovering as more start using is

The large receipt number is supposed to be a barcode, but you need to do some tweaking in the APD, but I will need to dig out the details.

We want to add the ability to select what is printed (eg, the VAT bits), but doubt it will be in the next version due out due to time constraints.

But - please can you advise how you change this big receipt number to a barcode or remove it? I can't use it for real unless I sort this out?

I have an Epson TM88 III printer using AFD driver 4.08.

In APD (Look in Printing Preferences for the printer), there are a couple of changes needed:

On Printer Settings tab, You need to substitute Barcode 7 for CodeWin128b. Then on Barcode tab, change it to match that of picture attached to this thread.

Additionally, you may want to consider, on the Document Settings tab, setting the Cash Drawer settings, the Logo Printing options and the Cutting options.

Actually, attached image is slightly incorrect - thats for something else we're messing about with.

Set to the image, but with the following changes:

34.0points (for font size)

Element Width: 2 dots

Element Height: 61 dots

HRI position: Below the barcode

I don't have that font installed (CodeWin128b)? Do I need to download it from somewhere (where?) and install it or am I doing something wrong?

Just checked, we do not have permission to distribute it, hence not in the installer.  Get it from http://freebarcodefonts.dobsonsw.com/installing-free-barcode-fonts.html - you only need the free barcode font, none of the commercial Word/Excel add-ins.

Thanks the barcode now prints but nothing happens when I scan it using a USB Metrologic MS7120 scanner? Other barcodes scan fine?

 Also the cash drawer is driven by the printer and does open after I print a receipt as I want, but the printer also prints another receipt out with just my graphic header as the till opens?

Is there a manual at all (apart from the installation manual)? I like the look of repair option since my shop will be retail but also do repairs. But haven't worked out how to use it?

Did you set APD up as per screenshot above, and put in the substitution as described earlier?  Its a simple Code93 barcode, should be readable by most scanners

In the Tills setup in SCM, set Till drawer to None - let the APD deal with opening the drawer.
