    Receipt printer

    Hi,

I have a SAMSUNG STP-103 set as windows default printer. When a receipt is printed the 1st line appears to be several lines printed over themselves, there is then a gap of app 1" and then a second line half of which is text printed over itself and at the end of that line perfectly readable is "Thank You.". I wonder is this something to do with the x & y pos boxes and if so do you have any tips.

    Thanks

Not familiar with that printer. If its Epson ESC/POS compatible, might be worth trying either the Epson TM88 or the U950 ones.

You may be able to get away with standard Windows settings, playing with X and Y coords (X=0 and Y=0 is top left, and figures in mm). If you are successful with this, please post back your settings Smile

    Re: Receipt printer

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply. The printer works perfectly when the tm88 option is selected.

Had a play around with the x & y cordinates. I am sure given time and alot of paper a satisfactory result could be achieved but no need yippe

    Thanks again
