Migrating DNS secondary zones from W2K3 to W2K8

To move non Active Directory Integrated zones from a Windows 2003 server to a Windows 2008 R2 server

    1) Stop DNS server on both servers
    2) Copy c:\windows\system32\dns\*.dns from W2K3 server to c:\windows\system32\dns on W2K8 server
    3) Export HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Dns Server\Zones to c:\temp\zones.reg
    4) Edit c:\temp\zones.reg and remove any ADI zones
    5) Copy this reg file to W2K8 server, and double click to import it
    6) Swap the IPs over between the W2K3 and W2K8 if required
    7) Start DNS Server service on W2K8
    8) Worth rebooting to register W2K8 IPs as part of the outage, though could just restart Server service
